Cindy was born and raised in Grand Forks and graduated Summa Cum Launde from the University of North Dakota, with a bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Finance. She went to school part-time for 16 years while working full-time, raising two sons, serving on several national boards and graduating in 1998.
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Clack & Dennis Real Estate, Cindy worked at Bell State Bank & Trust in Fargo, as the Cash Management Services Manager for four years. Prior to that, she was at Alerus Financial of Grand Forks for 30 years in various positions including Bank & Trust Operations Manager, Bank Project Manager, Chief Deposit Officer/Cash Management Director and Deposit New Business Developer.
She and her husband Greg along with two sons, Nic and Derrek, spent many summers, beginning in the mid 80’s, camping or staying at the lake cabins in the Park Rapids area (Two Inlets, Stocking Lake & Crow Wing Lakes).
In 1995 the family purchased a lot on Shallow Lake outside of Nevis with a small cabin on it. They eventually made it their home in 2004.
Cindy prides herself on being a “high energy person” who loves to be doing something all the time. Her grandkids, Ellie, Adley, Boden, Piper and Isla are the joy of her life. She also loves gardening, sewing, playing puzzles games, reading, repurposing old furniture, hosting family and friend get-togethers at the lake and spending time with their cockapoo dog, Willie.
We recently sold our cabin on Duck Lake in Menahga using Cindy Wentz of Coldwell Realtors of Park Rapids as our realtor. She came highly recommended, and from beginning to end, she was superb. She prepared a stunning video walk-through of the cabin and the property as a "coming soon," and once it was listed, arranged showings with realtors and potential buyers. She wrote a beautiful description of the cabin and property, and given the dimensions of the property, worthy of any math major. She helped us to price our property at a reasonable number, and after a dozen showings, we had multiple full-price offers, selling five days after the listing was made public. She's low-key but persuasive, organized with an attention to detail, and brilliant about how to describe and present a property. She "got us" and was a total pleasure to work with -- we recommend her wholeheartedly and enthusiastically.
